Lazarus has mostly refused to put his eyes under water. Our teachers at Emler have gently encouraged him. Really, I'm amazed each week at how well they handle our strong-willed Lazarus. He loves swimming, and they somehow get him to do stuff! This week he put his eyes under all on his own! Miss Jamie gives them imaginary scoops of ice cream (a perfect swimming attempt gets 100 scoops as high as the ceiling) during their class. So we celebrated Lazarus's accomplishment with frozen yogurt after class this week :-)
