week 23

I now feel our little girl moving around in there every day. Joshua can feel her, too, which is fun. We had another doctor's appointment this past Friday, and everything continues to look great. We start our labor class tonight. We're also getting closer to making a decision on some name possibilities! :-)

we're back from south africa!

We had an amazing time on our trip to South Africa. You'll have to read about it at http://jbayindaba.wordpress.com. God was definately there working through the entire group. I am so thankful that Joshua and I were able to take this trip together with Westside. It was awesome.

I also got to feel the baby move while we were in church there. You can see a short video of the singing at the church at http://vimeo.com/channels/evalana#5351236.

Pictures are 21 weeks on the beach and 22 weeks at the elephant park.

2. still haven't felt her moving.
3. we switched up riley's (our first dog's) medicine a little, and he's doing great now! Riley turns 5 on March 13th :-)

updates

We don't have a name yet. We only just started thinking of names on Feb 22nd, and it seems to be a major decision! We're taking any suggestions, though! It just can't be on the top 100 list, needs to be 2-4 syllables, have a good meaning or story, and has to have the right sounds in it (which i still haven't figured out how to describe).I've been feeling great. Except for my growing belly, i'm feeling fairly "normal" at this point and i'm enjoying that! It's a good thing, too, because Joshua and I are off to South Africa soon. I'll post the link to the blog that should be updated during the trip when I get it. We're looking forward to the trip for sure, though! And a quick update on one of our furry babies (since i know at least a few of you know riley and care). Riley was diagnosed with cancer in October 2006, and he had his left ear canal removed and received radiation last winter, but then last February he had another surgery, and we found out that he still had cancer cells in him. Anyway, he's been doing absolutely great for the last year, but then last month his left side of his face started twitching, so we're trying to treat that now. We tried one medication which did not work, so now we're trying another, and we won't find out if this one's working until the end of March. Unfortunately it's also making him very sleepy. Samson's doing great, but he's missing playing with his brother since Riley's been so tired.
picture is my belly at 20 weeks.
